Core Web Vitals
Core Web Vitals are Google's three performance metrics that measure how fast, responsive, and stable your website feels to a real user, and they are a confirmed ranking factor.
What Is Core Web Vitals?
There are three vitals. Largest Contentful Paint (LCP) measures how quickly the main content of a page appears, the target is under 2.5 seconds. Interaction to Next Paint (INP), which replaced First Input Delay in 2024, measures how quickly the page responds when a user taps or clicks, the target is under 200 milliseconds. Cumulative Layout Shift (CLS) measures how much the page jumps around as it loads, the target is under 0.1. Google measures these in the field using real Chrome user data and publishes the scores in Search Console. A website that fails on any of the three is competing with one hand tied behind its back, especially on mobile where most local and Dubai traffic now arrives.
